Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
