Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in a social science field required plus three (3) years’ experience providing support to individuals living with mental illness or providing support to individuals in a behavioral health setting, or experience performing non-professional, healthcare or social services.
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field preferred plus one (1) year experience providing support to individuals living with mental illness or providing support to individuals in a behavioral health setting, or experience performing non-professional, healthcare or social services..
- Valid California Driver's License required
How you will make a difference:
The Clerk identifies housing resources and develops relationships with community agencies to support clients' ongoing needs. Assists clients in completing facility consent forms upon admission and actively participates in treatment team meetings, collaborating with other disciplines to develop coordinated treatment plans for assigned clients. Provides consultation to families and Case Managers regarding vocational, educational, and housing-related matters, while helping clients and families access available resources to meet their needs. Facilitates resident councils, community meetings, and group sessions as directed, and transports clients to appointments to ensure direct linkage to necessary services and community resources.
Starting Compensation:
18.00 - 22.00 USD Per Hour
