Senior Specialist, Trading (Dreyfus)

The primary objective of the Senior Specialist, Trading role is to collaborate and provide assistance to the trading desk by executing and monitoring trading.

- Communicating market prices and liquidity conditions to trading desk and Portfolio Managers. - Managing intra-day cash positions across a variety of investment products including money market funds and separate accounts. - Assisting in managing market and liquidity risk. - Working independently with delegated responsibilities from more senior traders, which includes the pricing of securities and executing term transactions. - Liaising with operations and support teams through the life cycle of the trade to ensure proper trade settlement. - Completing assigned market research for trading team, distribution, and clients. - Handling routine trading desk inquiries and runs reports as necessary.

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. - 2-5 years money market/short fixed income experience. - Experience trading money market instruments preferred. - Strong interest in financial markets. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced trading environment.
