Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support our Finance Systems team with systems administration, budget management & analysis, and project oversight. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation and business acumen, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of our Finance systems, optimizing operational spending, and driving the successful delivery of technology initiatives across the organization.

Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Finance systems , infrastructure, and business applications (tools NetSuite, Coupa, Boomi, and related integrations ).

Manage user access, permissions, onboarding/offboarding, and license management across platforms.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruption.

Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Support the development, tracking, and reconciliation of IT capital (CapEx) and operating (OpEx) budgets.

Partner with Finance and FP&A teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting, variance analysis, and budget reporting.

Analyze spending trends and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize resource allocation.

Assist in the preparation of budget proposals, business cases, and financial presentations for IT leadership review.

Monitor vendor contracts, renewals, and expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Lead and support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from initiation through completion.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and status reports.

Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and team members to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.

Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and communicate progress to leadership and relevant departments.

Apply project management best practices and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) as appropriate to each initiative

8+ years of progressive experience in finance systems administration, IT operations, or a related role.

Demonstrated experience supporting IT budgets, financial reporting, and analysis.

Proven track record of managing technology projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).

Experience working in a nonprofit, education, or multi-entity organizational environment.
