What you get to do: The Director of Forecasting is responsible for overseeing and managing forecasting processes to predict visitor attendance, revenue, expenses, and other key business metrics.

This onsite role may be based in Orlando, Tampa, or Miami and plays a crucial part in informing strategic decisions, optimizing operations, and ensuring the company's financial success.

Key

Responsibilities: Strategic Forecasting: Develop and implement forecasting models to predict visitor attendance, ticket sales, and revenue.

Analyze historical data, market trends, and external factors to refine and improve forecasting accuracy. Financial Analysis: Forecast park expenses, including operational costs, marketing budgets, and capital expenditures.

Monitor financial performance against forecasts and identify variances to inform budget adjustments. Operational Planning: Collaborate with operations, marketing, and sales teams to align forecasts with business strategies.

Provide insights and recommendations to optimize staffing levels, inventory, and resource allocation based on forecasted demand. Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present regular forecast updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Communicate key insights, trends, and risks to support decision-making processes. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of forecast analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the forecasting department. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in forecasting methodologies.

Implement process improvements and leverage new tools or technologies to enhance forecasting capabilities. What is takes to succeed: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in forecasting, financial analysis, or strategic planning, preferably within the entertainment or hospitality industry.

Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in forecasting software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Strategic thinker with a forward-looking mindset. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Results-driven with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
