General Responsibilities:
Our Denver office has a diverse client base in both public and private sectors working in the commercial, industrial, government and institutional markets. As a Staff Scientist, your fieldwork efforts will include: Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs); Phase II ESAs; underground storage tank (UST) removals; soil excavation oversight; remedial and vapor mitigation systems installations; chemical amendment injections; operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) of remedial and vapor mitigation systems, aquifer testing, and sampling of various media. Your office work will include: reviewing, analyzing and reducing data collected during fieldwork; table, exhibit, and report preparation; sample packaging and shipping; and maintenance of equipment and supplies. environmental site investigations, assessments and surveys to sample, measure and analyze air, water, material, and soil. Identify, evaluate and recommend risk and remediation strategies/designs to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Prepare applicable permit applications, risk assessments and technical documents including proposals, reports and regulatory agency correspondence. Design systems and environmental protection plans. Projects may include Phase I/II environmental site assessments, ecological and natural resource field surveys, tank closure assessments, asbestos abatement, storm water management, and site planning and permitting.
