Director of Facilities

Responsibilities Manage a team of Regional Facility Managers Develop and manage the maintenance training curriculum by utilizing outside vendor trainings and partnering with RPM Living Training Department. Design and implement preventative maintenance program for all properties. Work with vendors, regional managers and lead maintenance technicians to identify cost saving opportunities with vendors.

Negotiate and manage annual schedule of items to reduce long term costs. Assist and review scope of work for Capex items. Assist Regional Managers with troubleshooting larger maintenance issues.

Recruit, interview, and onboard maintenance technicians. Inspect properties. Develop monthly Safety meetings.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment Work Environment: This is a remote position that requires quarterly travel throughout the Carolinas and Georgia, with additional travel as the business needs.
