Operating Room Assistant - Surgery Support

This position is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the OR and procedural areas (cath lab, EP and IR) at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint. The Perioperative Care Associate II (PCA II) under direction, assists the surgical/invasive procedural and Surgery/Procedure Admissions Unit (SPAU) staff with prepatory aspects of patient care, also will perform transportation, room cleaning and turnover, supply stocking, and general care of the environment.

This position is responsible for continuously demonstrating proficiency in both basic and more advanced cleaning techniques in the surgical and procedural areas.
