Description

Recreational Therapist at Providence PACE in the West Seattle, WA area. Schedule: Mon-Fri, Day shift Job Description: The Recreational Therapist provides a variety of therapeutic social, recreational and diversional events for participants. Conducts individual assessment to identify the participants' individual interests/needs.

Develops and implements an appropriate variety of individual and group activities. Participates in interdisciplinary care planning. Coordinates the recreation documentation for her/his assigned group of participants.

Assists with training and supervising assigned volunteers. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible through clinics, home visits and more. Required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy
  • National Provider BLS
  • American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Washington Recreational Therapist Registration upon hire.
  • National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
  • National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification upon hire
