ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Director of Supply Chain is the single accountable leader for all Supply Chain functions in the Air Dominance & Strike division (AD&S). AD&S is responsible for sales, design, development, production and sustainment of the Autonomous Aircraft programs (Fury) as well as the missiles portfolio (Barracuda) and Roadrunner loitering munitions. The role is accountable for developing the team, processes and standards that deliver radical production ramps, while managing cost. This role requires the leader to be able to rapidly travel from strategic thought & direction down to tactical levels of detail.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead & scale the four core teams in Supply Chain: Strategic Sourcing, Product Sourcing Engineering (GSMs), Procurement, and Supplier Industrialization Engineering. Attract and retain top-talent; Hire well, and hold a high-bar for talent through feedback, accountability.
  • Define best-in-breed supply chain process, ensuring smooth hand-offs between the various Supply Chain functions. Enabling the teams to focus on their expertise, but maintaining accountability for outcomes across them.
  • Develop engagement model with Engineering to ensure that the design teams are considering supply chain early to. reduce risk to ramp.
  • Working with Corp. Dev., build a team to develop & execute unique commercial strategies to align incentives between Anduril and suppliers from contracting, JV, M&A, vertical integration etc.
  • Be touch points to the executives and c-suite for all supply chain activities/risks/opportunities for AD&S. Communicating at the right altitude for the audience, but able to “go-deep” when asked.
  • Collaborate internally with key cross functional leadership teams (e.g., engineering, program management, finance, business line...etc.) to negotiate the right tradeoffs, solicit cooperation and resolve problems proactively.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain health and drive improvements.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on supply chain performance.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the supply chain, such as disruptions to supply or changes in market conditions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment specifically in a supply chain or production-related role focused on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly. At least 5+ years experience in a leadership position.
  • Experience building processes & teams from early-stages to mature operating machine.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to the executive team, & potential customers
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
  • Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or another related industry.
  • Experience with defense procurement and government contracting.
  • Proven leadership in driving and influencing large teams toward common goals.
  • Strong team player who can adapt to different roles to support team progress, including individual contributor tasks while managing a small team.

US Salary Range

$1—$100,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
