Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, with a preference for HVAC experience.
Preventative & Corrective Maintenance : Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency fixes on various building systems.
Regulatory Compliance : Understanding of state, federal, and local regulations, including fire marshal requirements and EPA standards (certification preferred).
Safety Awareness : Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for themselves and others, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
Record Keeping : Strong attention to detail in maintaining records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Communication Skills : Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operation manuals, and procedural guidelines.
Team Collaboration : Ability to work independently and coordinate with the Chief Engineer, Store Management, and other maintenance staff as needed.
- Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience
- This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- May involve reaching above eye level.
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies, based on department and company needs.
