Teacher

Position Summary : Providence Private Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to teach students in grades K-12th. The ideal candidate will lead instruction in one or more subjects-such as English, mathematics, or social studies-and foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. In addition to academic instruction, the teacher will help students develop essential life skills, promote positive behavior, and encourage self-awareness and personal development.

Responsibilities : - Establish boundaries for behavior. - Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects. - Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet children's varying needs and interests. - Maintain accurate and complete records on children. - Assign and grade class work and homework. - Prepare materials for activities. - Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development and physical health. - Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides children with opportunities to observe, question and investigate. - Establish clear objectives for all lessons, projects and communicate those objectives. - Prepare instructional program objectives, outlines and lesson plans. - Monitor children's performance to ensure that they satisfy course standards and objectives. - Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and

Qualifications: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Sensitive to confidential information. - Must work independently and as a member of team.
