Armed Security Officer - Supermarket

- Provide customer service to store customers, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. - Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site leadership and emergency responders as needed. - Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. - Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and access-control concerns; document incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly. - Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, company procedures, and site-specific post orders.

- Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. - Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License. - Be at least 21 years of age. - Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. - Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred. - Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Participate in industry-specific security training programs. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
