The Receptionist serves as the front-of-house specialist responsible for creating a professional and welcoming experience for employees, clients, and visitors. Through expert management of reception operations, including phone, digital, and in-person interactions, this role delivers white glove service while ensuring efficient, high-quality support within a corporate financial services environment.
- Maintain front desk coverage as the primary reception specialist and first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors. - Manage visitor check-in, badge issuance, access procedures, inquiries, and special requests via phone, email, and in- person interactions, delivering proactive and personalized service. - Coordinate conference suite reservations and meeting logistics, ensuring reception and meeting spaces remain client-ready at all times. - Create positive first and lasting impressions through exceptional customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Prioritize daily reception activities, manage competing requests, and provide administrative support for operational needs and special projects. - Troubleshoot routine workplace or equipment issues, escalating as appropriate, while adhering to company and client policies and using resources responsibly.
- Partner with onsite teams, clients, and vendors to deliver seamless service, effectively communicate and escalate issues as needed, and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment. - Demonstrate professionalism, cultural awareness, and a solutions-focused approach while handling confidential information, visitor records, and access-related data with the highest levels of discretion, security, and compliance. - Continuously enhance the reception experience by creating a welcoming and positive first impression for employees, clients, and visitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. - 1+ years of reception, office administration, or hospitality experience within a corporate environment; financial services experience preferred. - Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor and hospitality-first mindset. - Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and composure. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and workplace technology tools. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
RRD's current salary range for this role is $18.22 - $25.53/ hour The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.
Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
