Full job description

About the Role The Attorney Support Specialist - Utility Player is an integral part of Latham's Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm's lawyers by providing comprehensive administrative support, while working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow).

This role will be located in either our Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, or Orange County office. Depending on the location in which this role is based, the regular work schedule will be either Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

EST, or Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. PST. Please also note that during the first 2-3 months of training, one day per week in the office will be required, with a start time of 9:00 a.m.

EST or 8:30 a.m. PST, depending on location. Following the initial training period, the role will transition to fully remote, with occasional in-office attendance as needed.

Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include: Reviewing lawyer time entry, generating and editing client invoices, submitting expense reimbursement, calendaring and scheduling, managing and editing documents, and making travel arrangements Proactively learning internal systems and processes to find innovative solutions to problems and requests Working autonomously and proactively to pick up tasks across the Attorney Support function, often taking on large, time-consuming, and tedious tasks that may span across days and time zones Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains We'd love to hear from you if you: Demonstrate professional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm Display initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus Possess the ability to multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms And have: A high school diploma or an equivalent, preferably a bachelor's degree or an equivalent A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment, preferably Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
