Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver entry records, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements, reporting discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
