How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, transportation facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe passenger activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues to designated personnel.
Assist with directing visitors and providing general information while maintaining a professional presence at government transportation locations.
