Area Service Manager

Develop, implement and realize the sales/service and/or business plan and develop, structure and manager the assigned area/unit with in the overall business strategy, in order to realize commercial and business objectives.

- Oversee and direct all service, distribution, and shop operations for the service locations in the area of responsibility

- Confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services; make joint calls with sales, field service, and management to promote service at Dealers and end-users

- Develop plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees

- Review and analyze all management reports including full Profit and Loss responsibility, take corrective action as necessary

- Review production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operations of the service center

- Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization

- Ensure that a strong customer service focus is maintained in the division for all client communications and that all opportunities are maximized.

- Assist in warranty claims issueThis position may have supervisory responsibilities

- An Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school or industry-related experience

- A minimum of three years in industrial service or a combination of experience and education

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
