As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX or Strongsville, OH.

As a Software Engineer Lead on this team, you will be a part of a large-scale modernization initiative focused on transforming and enhancing the collections technology landscape. This individual will be responsible for leading the delivery of features and epics assigned to their team, ensuring successful execution from planning through implementation.

This position requires a strong technical leader who can provide strategic direction while remaining hands-on with day-to-day delivery activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with active participation in analysis, solution design, and execution.

As part of this modernization effort, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on innovative technologies, drive meaningful business transformation, and gain exposure to a broader range of initiatives than typically found in business-as-usual (BAU) environments.

Candidates must have strong proficiency in: - Java - Spring Boot - Kafka - Microservices - Oracle - SQL

- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions. - Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required. - Facilitates complex problem resolution. - Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software. - Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
