Purchasing Clerk

- Enter all receiving date relating to all direct materials. - Enter all receiving data relating to all indirect materials such as operating supplies, PPE, vaccines, etc. used. - Assist in all issues of direct materials to production. - Develop and prepare charts and graphs showing dollar amount usage by department of indirect operating supplies and PPE. - Develop and prepare charts and graphs showing dollar amount usage by department of direct materials. - Communicate daily with purchasing agents showing status of inventory and costs. - Manage and control all issues of indirect materials, operating supplies, PPT etc. to production. - Develop daily reports for purchasing agents showing status of inventory and costs. - Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout Tag Out procedure and Process Safety Management.

- Strong reading, writing, math, communication and analytical skills. - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Proficient in Data Entry, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to create charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.

- 1-2 years related experience preferred. - Working in accounts payable environment is preferred.

- Work environment includes, but is not limited to, a normal office supply warehouse environment as well as moving and working on wet, moist, dry and greasy floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces with up to 4 hours in a single interval. - Ability to climb stairs and ladders. - Exposures to all elements of the outdoor environment. - Exposure to temperature ranges of - Exposure to noise ranges to 100 db. - Bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, sitting and grasping varies in repetitions, distances, degrees, angle, weights, height, intervals of time, objects grasped, and body positions depending upon the task being performed. - Exposure to all chemicals found in a poultry processing operation. - Must wear and/or use protective and safety equipment required for the job and various locations. - Required to travel to remote facilities and plants for meetings.
