As a Designer with Gensler's team in [1] Pittsburgh, your role is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce purposeful, functional and beautiful spaces for our clients. You have an exceptional design sensibility, a background in interior architecture and interior design, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts.

Support interior design assignments that include interpreting client's needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation *
Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting *
Generate design with 3D models, Revit, Sketchup or other software, create digital 3D view to communicate design concepts *
Generate interior finishes and reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction *
Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts *
Support coordination with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, or Interior Architecture from an accredited program *
0-3 years of relevant experience within a commercial design firm *
0-3 years of experience designing and delivering projects is preferred/required *
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills *
Demonstrated commitment to [2] resilience and sustainable building practices
