Duties: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of features, projects, modules, and services to deliver in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Lead the team's design and implementation of end-to-end solutions towards client-side applications.
Drive architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the client-side applications, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions. Optimize software performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks via monitoring, logging, and metrics to enhance the user experience. Design clean, scalable, high performing, secure, and reliable software services, in all areas, including coding, documentation, and automation.
Identify and implement critical non-functional requirements (availability, security, performance, scalability, and observability), and improve automated test strategies, build and deploy processes to enable speedy and reliable continuous integration. Collaborate with other development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of client-side applications, automating and enhancing build, test, and deployment processes.
Communicate effectively with all technical and non-technical partners and stakeholders (Architecture, Developer Experience, Product, Design, Analytics, Legal, Marketing, etc.) as well as within teams to ensure a shared understanding of the new products and features under consideration. Conduct formal and informal code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and adherence to clean and scalable coding principles.
Research latest industry standards, tools, and technologies related to client-side development, observability, and DevOps practices, and drive their adoption within the team. Participate in program planning, influencing the product and technology roadmap and driving outcomes. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Special Skill
Requirements: 1. JavaScript and TypeScript (5 years) 2. Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue in large production systems (5 years) 3.
Experience with Java, Node.js, or similar background frameworks and implementing RESTful APIs (5 years) 4. Experience in designing and building Microservices and large-scale Distributed Systems (5 years) 5. Experience with Object-Oriented programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms, with the ability to apply appropriate design patterns (5 years) 6.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent (5 years) 7. Experience implementing and monitoring applications using tools Splunk or Datadog (5 years) 8. Experience building and operating services on cloud platforms GCP, AWS, or Azure (5 years) 9.
Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (3 years) 10. Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools Jenkins or GitHub Actions (3 years) 11. Experience with AI developer tools and Generative AI technologies (2 years) 12.

Qualifications: EOE, including disability/vets. The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is: Primary Location | Pay Range: Austin, TX | Salary: $163,550-221,500.00 per annum.
40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
