You will be responsible for Performing analysis/consulting on a variety of scientific/engineering problems in a variety of electrical/electronic components, products, and systems Supporting project areas that include both reactive and proactive issues facing our clients: failure analysis, risk assessment, reliability, design, manufacturing, and others Working as an individual contributor as well as in multidisciplinary teams Researching and developing novel methodologies to answer cutting-edge scientific- and engineering-based problems Participating at every stage of a project lifecycle: scoping and proposals; design of experiments; conducting and supervising tests; collecting and analyzing data; preparing reports; and presenting to clients Pursuing business development opportunities You will have the following skills and qualifications Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field such as Applied Physics or Optics 1-2 years of relevant experience in industry or postdoc after completing a Ph.D. is preferred Technical focus in electronics, semiconductors, circuits, electromagnetics, power electronics, or related cross-disciplinary areas Experience building bench-top or product-level optical systems or building medical devices strongly preferred Experience with electrical test equipment, designing, validating and conducting electrical tests, and troubleshooting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to convey technical conclusions to both technical and non-technical staff in engineering, business, and industry Self-starter with strong fundamentals and first-principles thinking, interested in learning about new topics Strong desire to help clients with their technical needs Presently legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship or processing required Applicants are encouraged to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae) with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page].

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process. Salary Range USD $140,000.00 - USD $154,000.00 /Yr.
