Full job description

What you'll do in the role: Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Business Analysis in Boston, Massachusetts to act as the primary point of contact with Business Users (Portfolio Managers, Traders etc.) for the support of technology used within the Order Lifecycle across multiple investment classes.

Responsible for Order Management System support, maintenance and development, including the import of all facets of investment-level and surveillance level data, exports to supporting or interested 3rd parties.

Responsible for incidents, major incident, problem and change management related activities. Perform advanced business analysis in front office application space which includes requirement gathering, documentation, writing and executing test cases, and develop new workflows.

Write, deploy, and support stored procedures. Engage with ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tools and other transformational software as part of the data ingestion process.

Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) days per week. What you'll bring to the role: -Requires a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. -Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Consultant, Senior Software Engineer, or a related role. -Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Utilizing Full-service on-premises Order Management System; Trade life cycle for Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income; Performing Trading Desk execution support; Querying SQL Server Management Studio; Applying Bloomberg API and Real-Time Data; Utilizing ETL applications with Kettle Spoon; Scheduling software, including AutoSys or ESP; Utilizing CRIMS (Charles River Investment Management) OMS including: Manager Workbench configuration, Blotter configuration, Middle Tier/Server configuration, Compliance Rule and Configuration, Import Export and Reporting and Sysadmin; Jira; GITHUB; Batch Scripting; SQL and PLSQL scripting; Writing advanced scripts in Perl, Shell, and Python; and Snowflake.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $188,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
