Key Responsibilities
- Review bibliographic citations and associated online journal content for accuracy, completeness, and required data elements.
- Validate and update citation metadata using established procedures, editing notes, and project-specific guidance.
- Identify research funding support, grant support indicators, funding agency information, and grant numbers when available and applicable.
- Review articles for secondary source identifiers, data repository references, and clinical trial registration numbers.
- Identify citations requiring deletion, incorrect designation, related-record linking, metadata addition, or completion marking.
- Complete assigned citation review workloads while meeting project productivity and quality expectations.
- Follow required security, system access, and project training requirements.
- Communicate questions, issues, or workflow barriers to project leadership in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma with
- 2+ years of relevant administrative, data entry, records management, or data review experience; or bachelor's degree in any field.
- 1+ years' experience using databases, spreadsheets, web-based systems, or data management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, standard operating procedures, and business rules.
- Strong written communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/telework environment.
- Experience supporting scientific, technical, healthcare, publishing, library, or information management programs.
- Familiarity with metadata, bibliographic records, citation information, or content quality review.
- Interest in biomedical literature, public health, life sciences, or research information resources.
- Experience working in a production-oriented environment with quality and productivity targets.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$50,605.00 - $86,028.00
