Job Description Medical Science Liaison, Precision Diagnosis The Medical Science Liaison for Precision Diagnosis will develop and execute the global KOL engagement strategy, building relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, professional societies, strategic clinical partners, and reference sites to support scientific collaboration.

The role coordinates external clinical insights and evidence generation across Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Science, and Business Leadership to drive innovation, product development, regulatory support, medical education, and market adoption. Your role: Lead global scientific engagement strategy by developing and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical experts, researchers, healthcare institutions, and professional societies.

Identify emerging scientific leaders, establish engagement plans, and serve as the primary liaison connecting external experts with internal stakeholders. Drive scientific insight generation through advisory boards, expert interactions, and structured Voice of Customer activities. Capture and translate external scientific and clinical perspectives into actionable recommendations that inform innovation, product development, evidence strategies, and business decisions.

Develop and execute scientific engagement initiatives at congresses, symposia, reference sites, and educational events. Maximize meaningful scientific exchange before, during, and after engagements to strengthen partnerships, support product adoption, and enhance clinical education. Establish and manage strategic scientific collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, healthcare networks, and clinical partners.

Support evidence generation, identify research opportunities and evidence gaps, and contribute to publication strategies, scientific communications, and dissemination of clinical data. Ensure excellence in scientific relationship management through governance, compliance, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

Maintain engagement databases, monitor KPIs, and evaluate the effectiveness of scientific engagement programs to maximize impact and organizational value. You're the right fit if: You have acquired 5+ years of experience within the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent clinical experience.

You have a proven track record in Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Clinical Research, scientific engagement, healthcare innovation, or related functions, including building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and other external stakeholders. You have strong expertise in scientific engagement, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management, clinical evidence generation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience within diagnostic imaging, image-guided therapy, scientific collaborations, advisory boards, investigator-initiated studies, clinical research, scientific publications, congress activities, or medical device development is highly preferred. Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and strategic relationship-building skills are required.

You have a master's degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Public Health, or a related scientific discipline. An advanced degree such as a PhD or MBA is considered an advantage. Clinical experience as a physician, particularly in Radiology or Interventional Radiology, is highly desirable.

You possess exceptional interpersonal, networking, and organizational skills, can effectively engage diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies, and are passionate about advancing innovation through scientific exchange and customer insights.

You demonstrate strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate clinical and scientific insights into actionable recommendations while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and ethical standards. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.

Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in AL, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, MN, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY is $133,000 to $212,000 The pay range for this position in AK, DE, HI, MD, MN, and RI is $140,000 to $223,000 The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, NJ, NY, or WA is $149,000 to $237,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
