Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager to support its Middle Market Banking segment as part of the In Market Credit Team. This position is responsible for credit underwriting and portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients and serves as a key member of a client's deal team.
- Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area - Review and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors - Resolve moderately complex issues within a Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, to meet project deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance
requirements - Collaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals - Lead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
- 4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of portfolio management and underwriting experience specific to Commercial & Industrial credit requests. - Strong analytical skills and ability to perform in depth analysis of commercial financial statements and complex data - Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modeling - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present to decision makers and customers in a professional and confident manner - Experience negotiating loan documentation and working with attorneys and loan administrators on closing transactions - Strong risk management and compliance skills and demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workflow and multi-task effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $100,000.00 - $196,000.00
