On-Site Environmental Tech

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the collection, identification and proper packaging and/or lab packing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste as well as administrative duties at the client site as well as spill response activities on site.

- Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.

- Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.

- Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.

- Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.

- Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as forklift, and pallet-jack. Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments. Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.

Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.

- A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

The pay range for this position is $25.45 to $34.97* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
