Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Paralegal to join our award-winning team in our Newport Beach office. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm, recognized for our sixth consecutive year in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers® 'Best Law Firms' rankings.

As a Paralegal, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients and contributing to our continued success. This position will also include some secretarial and/or administrative duties.

  • Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings
  • Assist attorneys with investigation and trial preparation
  • Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests
  • Review, analyze, summarize, and organize case files, documents, and discovery
  • Utilize existing files and research resources to develop information for pending cases
  • Assist in preparing and organizing subpoenas or other formal requests for documents
  • Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and report on pertinent changes
  • Communicate with clients regarding case matters and updates
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
  • Paralegal certification required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and court e-filing systems
  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently

Salary (Dependent on Experience): $65,000-$90,000
