Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Core Banking System Architect - Director, you will design and implement architectural solutions that align with the organization's overall strategy and goals. Your work will involve understanding business products, strategies, and customer usage, defining architectural principles, and developing frameworks to guide technology decisions and investments. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success.

In this role within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on optimizing technology infrastructure for enhanced business performance, confirming efficient data flow, interoperability, and agility. You will cultivate potential in others and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging our collective strength to maximize client satisfaction. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. You will promote technological advances, creating an environment where people and technology thrive together.

Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing seamless integration solutions and robust platform architectures to enhance business performance

- Leading the development of architectural solutions that align with organizational strategy and goals

- Analyzing business and technology landscapes to define architectural principles and guide technology decisions

- Overseeing the optimization and scalability of technology infrastructure to enable efficient data flow and interoperability

- Translating business strategies into actionable architectural frameworks and solutions

- Promoting technological advances and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together

- Driving business growth by identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes

- Mentoring and inspiring teams to cultivate potential and drive innovation

- Collaborating across the PwC Network to leverage collective strengths and maximize client satisfaction

- Adhering to professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree

- At least 9 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain

- Demonstrating proficiency in Agile Methodology and Business Architecture

- Utilizing cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure

- Excelling in Enterprise Architecture and Application Integration

- Leading strategic initiatives in technology integration and innovation

- Cultivating executive-level client relationships and driving business growth

- Promoting technological advances and fostering environments where people and technology thrive together

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
