KBR is seeking a US Space Force (USSF) Operational Requirements Analyst, Space-Based Sensing and Targeting (SBST) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work at the Pentagon.

The Operational Requirements Analyst will support the USSF Headquarters Staff, office of the Chief of Strategy and Resourcing (CSRO), - S5/8, Directorate of Space Requirements (S5R). The USSF is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force.

USSF responsibilities include developing Guardians, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands. The Directorate of Requirements is responsible for developing and integrating Joint Space Requirements for the DoD.

The Candidate will: - Interface and perform duties to support the Service integration with the Joint Capabilities Integration process (JCI). - Participate in the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) process, to include attending Functional and Joint Capabilities Boards (FCB/JCB) as the USSF representative. - Author, edit, review, staff and assess capability development products such as Combatant Command Derived Requirements (CRDs), Mission Area Requirements Documents (MARDs), Rapid Prototyping Requirements Documents (RPRD), and System Requirements Documents (SRD) - Advise senior leadership in planning, developing, and coordinating capabilities development process actions with the S5/8 - Synthesize data analytics to assess and provide feedback on the capability development artifacts for each program within your requirements branch

- Location: On-site, Pentagon, - Position is at the Pentagon, co-located with Guardians we support. Must be able to get to Pentagon NLT 8 AM standard, and as early as 7 AM if needed. Must be able to stay until 3:30 PM standard, and as late as 5:30 PM if needed.

- Demonstrated understanding of Space enterprise to include DoD requirements, acquisition, and budgeting processes and applicable Defense Space guidance and policy. - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, lead and execute requirements projects and out-brief results to senior leadership. - The candidate will be capable of applying principles, theories and concepts related to:

- US, allied, partner, and adversary space-based kill chains, space-based sensing technology, proliferated LEO constellation management, and space operations. - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent, plus 10+ yrs. applicable experience in Service, CCMD, and/or Joint Staff - Must have an active DoD TS/SCI clearance

- Master's degree in relevant field; operations research degree a major plus. - 13+ years experience in an Ops, engineering, scientific, analysis, policy and/or planning field related to Defense Space - HQ AF/SAF/Joint staff experience within the past 3 years - Experience editing Joint Requirements documentation - Experience with space system Acquisitions - Experience with staffing tools such as: Task Management Tool (TMT), Knowledge Management/Decision Support (KM/DS) - Experience with AI tools - Experience and knowledge in operational analysis

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
