Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs. Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES Lead regional logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery of finished goods from manufacturing plants to customers.

Provide functional leadership to logistics teams supporting six producing plants and third-party warehouses across the Americas. Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers, including carriers, warehouses, freight forwarders, and transportation service providers.

Own regional warehousing and distribution costs, including budgeting, cost control, freight-spend analysis, and KPI reporting. Partner with Logistics Procurement on transportation, warehousing, fleet, and logistics service agreements.

Manage dedicated railcar and bulk-truck fleets, including maintenance, utilization, fleet sizing, security, and equipment sourcing. Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and trade regulations, internal policies, and environmental, safety, and quality requirements.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics cost savings, network optimization, service reliability, and supply-chain risk reduction.

Manage logistics-related complaints, delivery performance, and loss or damage claims, implementing corrective actions where required. Support the regional Sales and Operations Planning process and related logistics activities in SAP.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in transportation logistics, distribution, warehousing, or supply-chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience managing domestic and international logistics operations, third-party service providers, and distribution networks. Strong knowledge of transportation management, logistics cost control, fleet management, trade compliance, and supply-chain optimization.

Experience managing railcars, bulk trucks, or other logistics equipment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed teams and collaborate across functions.

Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong hands-on experience working in SAP for logistics and supply-chain processes is required.

Summary Compensation &

Benefits: Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Pay Range: $111,800 to $202,900 Evonik offers a comprehensive benefit package, subject to plan eligibility, terms, and guidelines.
