Full job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable, cloud-native software solutions that power next-generation financial applications. In this role, you will contribute hands-on development while supporting architecture and design decisions across modern web applications, APIs, and distributed services.

If you are passionate about exploring new technologies and have a demonstrated track record of delivering innovative features and products, we would like to hear from you. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Architecture, UX, DevOps, and Security, to design, develop, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities such as intelligent automation, LLM-powered services, RAG-based solutions, and API-driven AI integrations.

You will help translate emerging ideas into reliable, production-ready systems that deliver measurable business value.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team while operating autonomously with minimal supervision. A strong background in modern software development, cloud platforms, and agile methodologies is essential. Experience building, integrating, or operating AI-powered applications, and using AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery, is highly valued.

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable applications in an Azure cloud environment. - Build full-stack solutions using Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and microservice architectures. - Modify and enhance existing applications; contribute to product delivery through coding and pull request reviews. - Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered capabilities, including LLM integrations, RAG, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation, using platforms such as Azure OpenAI. - Implement and maintain AI orchestration and inference pipelines, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, observability, and responsible usage. - Apply software engineering best practices (testing, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, secure SDLC) to production systems, including AI-driven applications. - Evaluate and prototype emerging AI tools and frameworks; leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, and code review. - Ensure data privacy, security, governance, and compliance when building and deploying AI-enabled functionality. - Independently define and prioritize goals and tasks in a fast-paced agile product environment with small, focused teams. - Collaborate with Solution Architects and stakeholders to align on design plans, troubleshoot production issues, and drive durable solutions. - Mentor engineers on software engineering best practices, cloud-native architecture, and AI integration patterns. - Propose solutions to complex problems, build consensus among the team, and influence technical direction.

- 5+ years of software development experience using Python and building cloud-native applications in Azure (AWS experience also considered). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience developing modern web applications with React and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and application architecture. - Experience designing and consuming REST APIs. - Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL). - Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring other engineers. - Experience working in Agile development environments. - Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software development best practices. - Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, including Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, or vector databases. - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes preferred. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. - Familiar with Ruby on Rails or willing to learn it. - Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms. - Experience with application observability leveraging OpenTelemetry.

TECHNOLOGY: Python, Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure OpenAI, AI Services), React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST API, Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB), LLMs, RAG, AI APIs.

DEVELOPMENT TOOLS: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, Azure, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, NPM Package Management, CI/CD Pipelines.
