As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Buffalo, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors.

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or hazardous conditions, and document incidents according to site policies.
• Support a welcoming educational environment through professional communication, accurate reporting, and coordination with campus contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
