id="details-info" class="tab-pane active fr-view" style="margin:2px"> Description The incumbent will be the main site point of contact for league games, practices, and programs.

The position will also assist the Recreation Superintendent, Program Coordinators, and Facilities Manager when needed, with administrative work or special events.

This position will be required to work nights and weekends. Job Duties Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers; maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of their own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.

Assists with general supervision of sports programs and associated staff and contract workers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include addressing complaints and resolving problems. Act as the main site point of contact/supervisor for SPR game, practices, and smaller programs/events.

Responsible for becoming familiar with parks and facilities. Coordinate schedules for other site supervisors (score keepers, officials, etc.) as needed.

Schedule indoor/outdoor reservations for sports and events as requested from outside groups or persons. Open/close fields, conduct field set up, direct game day staff, provide rule clarification for officials, resolve disputes (coaches, staff, players, fans), crowd control, and monitor for potential safety issues.

Assist Program Coordinators as needed with administrative tasks regarding leagues and programs as needed. Assist the Facilities Manager with indoor tournaments and events as needed.

Assist front desk staff with day to day operations as needed. Responsible for checking field conditions before practices and games on weeknights and weekends.

Enforce and interpret SPR rules to provide a safe, orderly, and family-friendly environment for all patrons. Assist in the planning and implementation of a preventative maintenance program/schedule for all fitness equipment and fitness program; Responsible for maintaining inventory of all equipment.

May be required to work overtime and weekends for special program events. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Must have experience with team sports (playing or working) or crowd management; 12-18 months of management experience, or the equivalent of education and experience.

Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within a year of hire date. Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer, telephones, and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook.

Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects.

Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written often under adverse conditions.

Possess good judgment, good powers of observation and memory. Must be open to flexible work schedule and weekend hours. Supplemental Information Must successfully pass criminal background check, including but not limited to convictions, guilty pleas, or no contest pleas to violent offenses, theft offenses, and offenses against children.

We process such data only at the direction of that Customer and do not use it for our own purposes. Further, if you apply to a job or your employer utilizes our Services to manage their relationship with you, the personal data collected about you is generally controlled by the employer (our Customer).

This Policy does not describe the processing of your personal data by our Customers, and we encourage you to visit the Customer's privacy policy for information about their privacy practices.

For example, if you applied to a job at a local state agency, you should contact that agency with any questions you may have relating to the personal data processing by that state agency within our Services.
