Our Command Center team within the BC&P Operating Office is looking for a dynamic Project Manager and team leader. This team leads the delivery for some of BC&P's highest priority initiatives. In this exciting role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and amplify BC&P's most impactful work, solve complex problems from our distinct vantage point, all while balancing strategy and tactics.

Our project work runs the gamut, some examples include: launching new products, leading updates to existing products and features, or leading foundational initiatives that enable growth.

As a Senior Manager of Project Management in BC&P, you will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will lead a team of project managers to deliver important and exciting projects, working alongside key stakeholders across the company.

Although the opportunities are endless, the core responsibilities of a Senior Manager of Project Management include:

- Lead the delivery of high-priority initiatives and work streams that span across Business Cards and Payments and Capital One, directly and through a team of project managers

- Design, develop, and manage project plans and delivery roadmaps in a complex dynamic environment

- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical recommendations in support of project delivery

- Drive solutions to complex problems across cross-functional teams by applying sound business judgment to navigate trade-offs between competing priorities

- Communicate status, impediments, and risks/issues across all levels of the program

- Deliver results and influence business outcomes across all levels of the organization

- Influence and manage stakeholders and intent owners across COF ranging from VP+ to associate

- Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts

- Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment

- Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style

- Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience - At least 6 Years of Project Management or Program Management experience - At least 2 Year of People Management experience

- Masters / MBA degree - 8+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience - 2+ years of Product Management experience - 4+ years of People Management experience - PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification - Strong written and oral communication skills
