Full job description

- Design, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.

- Create scalable, maintainable, and reusable application components that align with architectural standards.

- Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical solutions.

- Enhance and maintain existing applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

- Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs.

- Work with SQL databases and data models to support application functionality and reporting needs.

- Integrate applications with Microsoft technologies, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party platforms as required.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.

- Monitor application performance and implement improvements where necessary.

- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support materials.

- Partner with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business objectives.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.

- Ensure solutions comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

- Follow established development, release, and governance processes.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

- 3-5 years of software development experience, including hands-on experience building and deploying applications with OutSystems.

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Experience within the Insurance, Risk Management, Brokerage, or Financial Services industries.

- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based application development.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments.

- Experience developing customer-facing portals or workflow-driven business applications.

Experience with the following Microsoft Power Platform technologies is desirable:

- Integration with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Teams

In this role, you will help accelerate the delivery of business solutions by leveraging low-code technologies, improving operational efficiency, enhancing client and employee experiences, and supporting the firm's digital transformation initiatives across Insurance Brokerage and Financial Services operations.
