Full job description

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP documentation, identifying discrepancies, driving corrective actions, and maintaining audit-ready records.
  • Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and partner with Finance to recover overpayments and ensure compliance.
  • Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance on complex classification issues.
  • Analyze import data to identify compliance risks, duty savings opportunities, and process improvements while developing dashboards, automation, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and other cross-functional teams to improve customs processes, documentation, and import data integrity.
Requirements
  • Experience with U.S. customs compliance, including CBP Form 7501, customs valuation, country of origin requirements, HTS classification, and trade remedies such as Sections 301 and 232.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify documentation and duty calculation errors, quantify financial impact, and maintain accurate audit records.
  • Experience working with customs brokers, managing Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), and ensuring compliance with importer of record requirements.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills, with experience creating reports, calculators, dashboards, or automation that improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, influence process improvements, and manage compliance risks proactively.

In this role, you'll own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams and customs brokers, and build scalable tools that improve data accuracy, reduce duty overspend, and support seamless global trade operations.
