Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations. AT&T has an opening for CORE Network Engineer to support our government customers' global enterprise networks. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.

No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Chantilly, VA. Description of Job Duties/

Responsibilities: Design and Develop tools for relevant operating systems platforms. Design and Develop tools that integrate with commercial applications. Design and Develop database management systems, image processing, collaborative tools, data manipulation techniques, data visualization techniques, and directory services.

Develop and conduct unit tests Determine feasibility of software design within time and cost constraints. Document software designs and related instructions so that others can understand and replicate the program. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.

Assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel. Collaborate with computer manufacturers and users to develop new programming methods. Train subordinates in programming and program coding.

Design and build web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph) Required

Qualifications: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master's and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years. Required qualifications include the following: Must be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
