Housekeeper (Part-Time)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Provides daily cleaning of assigned resident units, assisted living center, community center and other common areas. - Responsible for the care of all equipment on housekeeping cart. - Stocks housekeeping cart at end of shift. - Stocks housekeeping closets. - Possesses a basic understanding of infection control. - Possesses a basic knowledge of chemical usage.

Maintains a professional image to the public and residents. - Works in accordance with established safety guidelines; uses proper body mechanics; follows safe work practices; wears appropriate safety gear. Starting pay ranges from $18.15 per hour-$22.10 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.

QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school education or vocational training preferred. Training and Experience: Experience in housekeeping activities; use and maintenance of equipment. All staff that provide direct care to residents will have current first aid training.

Knowledge and Abilities: Experience in housekeeping activities and use of supplies preferred. X Medium Work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen.
