Senior Developer (Data Engineer)

Essential Functions Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products within Floor & Decor's Databricks platform Develop cloud-native solutions that improve data accessibility, quality, reliability, and business value Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver enterprise data products Build and maintain Delta Lake tables, dimensional models, and curated datasets that support analytics and reporting needs Support migration efforts from SQL Server EDW to Databricks by modernizing legacy workloads and validating business logic Implement data quality controls, monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practice initiatives Document technical solutions, data models, and operational processes to support long-term maintainability Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Data Engineering organization Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reduce technical debt, and increase engineering efficiency Own data products through their full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and development through production support and continuous improvement WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT) This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS Sedentary Work - Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Store Support Center Associates Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, insuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.

Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations.

All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
