the opportunity to design state-of-the-art algorithms for leading edge solutions in smartphones, automotive, IOT, smartwatches as many other consumer electronics devices. Job activities span the whole product life cycle from early R&D to commercial deployment. The successful candidate will work with systems, software, and integration/test engineers in the QCT sensors group
* Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for single and multi-sensor fusion using ML/AI techniques. Typical development flow uses high level languages like MATLAB and Python.
* Create reports on algorithm evaluation, validation, benchmarking and delivering complete design and user documentation.
* Balance between performance, power consumption, and computational complexity.
The position is technology focused and involves participation in a broad range of sensors systems engineering activities within the Sensors Technologies group
* Master or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related area or equivalent experience.
* Experience with using concepts in probability and statistics, supervised and unsupervised learning, feature extraction, classification, regression etc.
* Knowledge of inertial sensors or working on algorithm designs using IMUs.
* Hands on experience of algorithm implementation and debugging.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
