This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the full technology stack-from intuitive front-end user experiences to highly scalable backend services, cloud-native infrastructure, data platforms, and AI-driven workflows.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, technical program managers, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure architects to deliver tools that are used daily by Qualcomm's engineering community.

* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full stack applications used across engineering organizations.

* Build modern web UIs using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

* Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Express, or similar technologies.

* Build and optimize large-scale data platforms leveraging SQL and NoSQL databases.

* Develop automation workflows for engineering productivity, infrastructure management, analytics, and reporting.

* Partner with infrastructure teams to deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes and containerized environments.

* Build dashboards, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools.

* Integrate AI/ML and LLM technologies into internal engineering workflows where applicable.

* Drive software architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and best practices.

* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence across the team.

* Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues in production environments.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and engineering requirements into technical solutions.

* Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

* Strong experience building and deploying full stack web applications.

* Experience developing modern front-end applications using React.

* Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems.

* Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

* Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

* Experience supporting EDA, CAD, semiconductor design, verification, or high-performance computing environments.

* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, or cloud-native platforms.

* Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.

* Experience building data analytics and reporting solutions.

* Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Splunk, or observability platforms.

* Experience with LSF, Slurm, or distributed job scheduling systems.

* Experience developing AI/LLM-powered applications and integrations.

* Experience with authentication frameworks such as OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, or Active Directory.

* Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.

* Deliver highly scalable platforms used by thousands of engineers.

* Increase engineering productivity through automation and self-service solutions.

* Improve reliability, performance, and observability of critical infrastructure services.

* Lead architectural decisions for next-generation CAD infrastructure platforms.

* Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards across the organization.
