As a software sustainment engineer at Booz Allen, you'll have an operational impact from day one. With a team of professionals, you'll maintain applications and keep systems working.

You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.

You Have: Experience with programming in Python and C Experience in web development using HTML and JavaScript Experience using React frameworks Experience using Docker Ability to apply critical and analytic thinking to improve and troubleshoot code Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods, or 12+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience with applying cloud computing in AWS to develop and deploy more efficient, secure, and cost-effective software Experience with object-oriented design (OOD) to develop flexible and maintainable programs Experience with database design, SQL, and relational databases Knowledge of database design principles Knowledge of web standards, protocols, frameworks, and full-stack development Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
