Senior Manager, Product Management - Fraud Modern Core Integration Lead

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.

This is a Senior Manager role in Card Fraud focused on establishing and refining the long-term vision and Modern Core Reads integration strategy for Fraud. The individual will work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including product leaders, distinguished engineers, architects, tech leaders across Fraud and the Modern Core program, as well as business and data analysts.

A key responsibility will be to define the Fraud onboarding roadmap for Reads and influence the technical design within the Modern Core platform.

- Defining and advancing the 1-3 year Modern Core integration roadmap, focusing on Card Fraud's strategic value, sustainability, and scalability to achieve target performance metrics

- Partner with Tech, Product, Ops, and BA leads to define critical data requirements, establish a feasible onboarding roadmap, and manage cross-functional dependencies.

- Provide thought leadership on new Core Data structures and technologies, validate technical architecture solutions, and ensure execution meets Card Fraud's business needs at scale.

- Oversee execution, facilitate complex coordination (preventing service disruptions), champion the migration of historical data, and ensure a robust change management, training, and communication plan is developed and executed for driving Modern Core adoption across all Fraud Products.

- Integrated Problem Solving: Own and drive the end-to-end technical problem-solving for the most complex Data challenges impacting Fraud and the Modern Core platform migration, establishing a unified technical roadmap and approach to ensure the successful delivery of Fraud's strategic agenda within the new environment.

- Transformational Leadership: Serve as the key technical bridge between Fraud and Modern Core engineering teams, leveraging deep expertise to resolve dependencies, drive consensus on technical solutions, and proactively communicate risks and progress to Fraud leadership to influence data architecture and prioritization decisions.

- Business Focus: Translate complex Fraud business needs into a prioritized Data onboarding and solution strategy for Modern Core, ensuring technical efforts are consistently aligned to maximize business value and enterprise-level risk mitigation.

- Technology Driven: Maintain expert-level knowledge of both the legacy Fraud Data ecosystem and the target Modern Core architecture, utilizing this synthesis to proactively identify integration friction points and champion unified, scalable technical solutions between the Fraud and Modern Core engineering teams.

- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing
