Manager, Product Management- Common Capabilities

The common capabilities team is the foundational engine that accelerates successful development of Capital one's credit card system by enabling data abstraction, data quality and tooling for our partners to scale state of the art customer billing system.

In this role, you will support the design and delivery of a new, extensible, and well managed products. You will succeed if you are able to apply systems thinking to understand the platform, business, and broader technical architecture holistically, and partner with Engineering to drive the full development lifecycle. Your work will deliver foundational capabilities that power updated card processing platforms across Capital One.

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product Management:

- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

- Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience

- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
