Principal Associate, Operations Governance, FPDS

we are looking for innovative, bold individual contributors who take ownership in driving outcomes while influencing and collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders with varying perspectives and priorities.

- Operational & Pipeline Governance: Oversee 24/7 data monitoring and SLA compliance across core pipelines; participate in daily standups, manage stakeholder communications via Slack, and maintain high-priority tracking for LRM/HPU datasets during critical month-end windows.

- Financial Control & Compliance Execution: Drive monthly General Ledger reconciliation processes, conduct deep-dive variance reviews, prepare summary artifacts for DDRO sign-offs, and ensure strict audit compliance.

- Incident Management & Engineering Partnership: Manage operational incident triage, handle partner escalations, track resolutions, and collaborate weekly with engineering leads to prioritize pipeline fixes and prevent recurring defects.

- Data Quality & Governance Oversight: Support annual control reviews in Fuse, monitor automated Data Quality thresholds alongside Data Stewards, and ensure quarterly maintenance of active Data Provisioning Agreements (DPAs).

- Operational Framework Modernization: Modernize existing operational frameworks by bridging continuous improvement efforts with core customer success objectives, establishing robust measurement frameworks to evaluate operational effectiveness.

- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management OR Process Management OR Program Management Or a combination

- Masters or MBA degree

- 5+ years of Project Management experience

- PMP (Project Management Professional Certification), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Strong problem solving and influencing skills

- Work experience achieving results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
