Director, Software Engineering - Risk Tech

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) tech team is on a mission to modernize our approach to risk management with technology, moving from reactive to proactive, and from manual to automated. As a Tech Leader, you'll be at the heart of this change, helping to drive the transformation of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) product that support our core business.

- Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers

- Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team

- Work with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies

- Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions

- Bring a passion for staying on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

- Encourage innovation, the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity

- Work across teams to improve the velocity of your own and other teams

- Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments

- Break down existing monolithic applications into microservice architectures and build new microservices

- Master's Degree in Computer Science or Master's Degree in Software Engineering

- Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity, utilizing capabilities beyond basic code completion
